Excellent LocationJust 4 min walk to Tainan Station. Very near to bus stops. 7-Eleven and electrical bike rental shop is just under the block. Room is clean. Simple complimentary breakfast. One of the staff is very polite and helpful.
Simple hotel but niceThis budget hotel is quite simple, the building and the room is quite old. However, considering the low room rate, this hotel ia still meeting my expectation. Free breakfast is also a plus point. The location is incredible, right in front of Tainam train station and bus stops.
Old Hotel but Clean and Comfortable RoomsTakatama Hotel is located on the 3rd Floor of a Very Old Looking Building located infront of Tainan Station. Take the elevators on the left to get to Takatama. Check In at 3pm. So we left our Bags. The Room was Huge and Old. It had 2 Queen sized beds, the bed was Comfortable. TV already LCD, Ref, Kettle, Cups, Tea included. Had a bit of trouble where the switch for the lights were. So we went to sleep with lights on. It was only in the morning when i realized that the switch on the bed side table were for the lights. It was mis labeled as switch for the Aircon. Breakfast was Chinese. It was quite good. Overall it was a good stay..even if the hotel is already old it was an enjoyable stay.
LocationWe stayed in the twin double room which is quite spacious, the windows look across to the train station and local bus which is just downstairs. It's in a old building block but the interiors is slightly dated, the bathroom quite clean. The tv has cable channels. Breakfast is local style with congee, condiments, steam buns, bread, fried noodles and veggies. Overall is a safe, clean environment and extremely good location.
Convenient location , staff friendlyTakatama hotel easy to locate, just opposite Tainan railway station just across a street, The Hotel is at 3 floors, room big Public transport just at the door step. Breakfast good chinese style, the tourism information counter just outside railway station. There is a coach bus station nearby that can bring you any part of Taiwan.
