Great locationBeen there few yrs ago, n still like the location best. Very convenient to travel by train n local bus. The building may be old but the auntie cleaners are friendly and helpful. The reception staff are polite as well. Do bear in mind if you are taking buss 88/ 99 on weekdays from the bus stop beside the hotel. They are not running regularly thus, waiting time for a bus may take 2 hrs or longer. I recommend the hop on tour bus. Higher possibility to tour around the tourist spots.
Best hotel so far in TaiwanThis is my third hotel and I can not fault it. Staff especially one lady who speaks great English are so helpful and friendly. Let me check in abit early and alittle late. The room is really clean. Nice bathroom. Best location just opposite the train station. Cheap price. Free really nice coffee! What more do you need.
AvoidLate check in they gave me a room for500 Taiwanese dollar, I went o the room and a giant rat was running in the room, I had a panic attack, I went to the reception they gave me another room but I would have preferred they rebooked another hotel, I didn't sleep because I heard noise that place is full of giants rat, avoid it please, it is disgusting, rats they can pass through the door so they cannot control, horrible experience

Cheap, clean and efficient. This hotel is fantastic if you are looking for something directly across the train station. The price is unbeatable and make sure you request a newer room as the facilities are much better when you do. The bed is not comfortable but the shower and water pressure is excellent. There are plenty of cable channels and if you are looking for super basic accommodations with a fabulous price this is definitely the place.
Clean economy stay!If you are looking for a quick stop, in a clean and quiet room, then this is your place! Near the center and walking distance to train station and major bus stations. Most vendors are used to foreigners in this area and speak English.
