BEAUTIFUL ORNAMENT INSIDE TEMPLE
This temple is next to Anping Fort. Don't miss the Tianhou Temple if visiting Anping Fort. This temple is also known as the Grand Mazu Temple to worship the Goddess Mazu or Goddess of the Sea. Inside the temple there are many beautiful ornamental ornaments and statues around it.The statue of the Goddess Mazu is located in the main altar. Besides visiting, for those who want to pray and burn incense in this temple, available incense is sold in the temple. -

Stunning temple, best part of Anping!!
We saw dozens of temples in many cities but this one is big, beautiful and busy with activity...in other words, quite engaging and not to be missed. -

Vibrant temple; right next to Anping Fort
We visited Tianhou / Anping MatsuTemple as it is the first main temple you see as you exit Anping fort gates. An incredibly intricate and beautiful temple with its origins dating back from 1668 (although last rebuilt in 1994), this the largest temple in the area. It was very busy with worshippers paying their respects whilst we visited and it is free admission. -

Beautiful and elegant
This is a very huge and beautiful temple located next to the entrance of Anping Fort. The exterior is very majestic. A short visit of 15 minutes should be sufficient to appreciate its beauty. -

Big temple
There are many Tianhou Temple in Taiwan, but this one in Anping is on a big scale. The decorations are colorful and photogenic. This temple is located just beside the entrance of Anping Fort. So, you can visit at the same time. The entrance is free.
