Swan Lake (天鵝湖), originally called Piliaopi (埤寮埤), is the water source for irrigation of the nearby farmland, and in recent years it has become a new landmark in Xinying (新營). Walking the trail around the lake, tourists can admire the view of the lake's arched bridge and marvel at the lotuses adorning the surface of the lake. Many visitors can't resist preparing some tasty snacks and bringing a picnic blanket to sit and enjoy a picnic while appreciating the scenery.
