Introduce

Located in Anping District, Tainan City, Tabe Cahamu Indigenous District takes its name from “Tabe,” meaning “hello” in the Siraya language, and “Cahamu” (ca’hamu), the Tsou name for the Anping area. The name reflects how diverse indigenous cultures have intertwined and flourished on this land.

As Tainan’s first destination to blend indigenous culture, industries, and lifestyle experiences under one roof, Tabe Cahamu Indigenous District showcases indigenous brands, local creations, and distinctive cuisine. Infusing everyday life with culture and art, this vibrant destination brings fresh cultural energy to the city while adding a new highlight to Tainan’s tourism landscape.
