"Yu Xue Ice Dessert Store" is famous for its "Red Bean Milk Ice Dessert", and this dessert is made with Taiwan's local red beans cooked until deep red, when the shells become softer and thinner. The lotus seeds used in the store's "Lotus Seed Ice Dessert" and "Lotus Seed Ice Cream" also originate from Bai He District. When the "Water Lily Festival" nears the end, the farming association will send fresh lotus seeds to the store and then the store will pack the seeds properly before freezing them. This enables the store to sell, serve fresh and delicious lotus seed desserts such as "Lotus Seed Ice Cream" and "Lotus Seed Ice Dessert" year-round.
